Date: May 16, 2006 01:43AM Does anyone have a recipe for Zucchini hummus. I already make raw hummus and any other pate type recipes would be appreciated.

Date: May 16, 2006 03:19PM I just posted that on my blog today too.
One tip: If you don't want your hummus to be green in color, then use a potato peeler and peel off all the skin and set that aside for your next green juice or salad. Leaving the green peelings in makes the hummus look more like guacamole than hummus, LOL. Re: zucchini hummus

Date: August 08, 2010 10:27PM Thansk for a new idea, been doing raw afew weeks. love it, flavor, texture, went to potluck last night everyone loved my dish.
spagetti/jicima salad hand grated 1 large spaghetti squash sliced & diced a peeled Jicima 2 or 3 T minced garlic few shakes of cumin spice drizzled some red pepper dressing on it last minute put handful of almonds dried raisins,dried cranberries toos &eat everyone loved it Whitedove, Prescott Valley , AZ Re: zucchini hummus

Light Zucchini Hummus Recipe 2 zucchini, peeled and chopped 1/2 cup raw tahini 1/3 cup fresh lime or lemon juice 1/4 cup cold pressed olive oil* 4 cloves garlic, minced 1 teaspoon celtic sea salt 1/2 tablespoon ground cumin Blend ingredients in a high speed blender until smooth, adding more salt and lemon juice to taste if you like. Don’t blend too long or the friction of the blades will cook your hummus. Thanks Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
