Date: March 03, 2012 05:17PM This is ultimate goodness! I am putting together my recipe as I don't use recipes per se, until I manifest something really good, then I write it down. This is a coconut fig crust. And the filling is avocadoes, coconut oil, cacao butter, carob powder, sweetened with stevia and coconut syrup! tastes just like pure cacao without all the negative side effects, like feeling like I am on speed. I will post the recipe soon after Ya'll salivate for a minute! Re: SUPERB Carob/Cacao Avocado Pie! 4 Stars!

Date: April 26, 2012 03:49PM I will give the base recipe. I also use a very big pan which ends up making a 5+ pound pie! Its a 11.25" pan I think.Maybe 13" I can't remember. Either way you might wanna shrink it a bit.
The Crust-You can use any crust you want, but here is mine for this pie. *3 cups coconut shred *2 cups dried figs *1 tbls coconut oil *1/2 tsp salt Blend these together in a food processor, adding only TINY bits of water to help adhere the ingredients. I use maybe a half teaspoon. VERY LITTLE. press into pie pan. If it isn't sticky enough blend more figs in. If its too gooey, either you added too much water, or too many figs so add more coconut! refrigerate. I use a springform for sure. Filling- *3-4 avocados *1 1/2 cups melted coconut oil *1/2 cup raw coconut sap(or other liquid sweetener) *1 cup or more of raw carob powder, maybe 1.5 cups *1 tsp hemp seeds(emulsifier) *1/2 cup water *1/2 tsp salt *1 tsp stevia powder extract(not vital, you could use more syrup) *1 oz(by weight) raw cacao butter(not melted, whole and hard) *1 vanilla bean basically you want to blend it all together leaving out the avocados, and the cacao. Then you can add the cados and cacao at the end. If the mixture happens to be too thick, add a lil extra oil and water. Adjust to taste, pour mixture into crust, put in freezer for about 30 minutes, then put in fridge for at least 2-4 hours. It should set nice and stiff,if not you added too much water. ENJOY!
