Personally I don't use them older than 1 week old, maybe 2 weeks at the most.

IMHO ... I would not eat them.

Frozen stuff is generally ok for 3-6 months, some things for up to a year. Depends on what it is, how it was stored, etc. Bananas 3-6 months if your freezer doesn't deliver a lot of freezer burn.

I don't buy frozen fruits, never liked them. But I think as long as your frozen fruit doesn't have freezer burn it should be ok. Though I don't believe it would have any nutritional value.

The only reason I freeze bananas is because they ripen quickly and I go to the market once a week.

They can go for a lot longer than a week but after a while they get kind of gnarly.

They retain all their nutrient content in terms of minerals which are not generally so heat/light/age sensitive. Vitamins are delicate lil' things that due fade due to exposure to the elements but not so with minerals. Minerals are the thing that can be in short supply, no matter the diet. It's hard to fall short on vitamins though, they are available in fresh raw foods in abundance smiling smiley.

LOL-WTF?! You signed up today to cut and paste one of Coco's posts? Or am I speaking to Coco?winking smiley

I have found that it's silly to make some hard and fast rule. Look at the item. Is it discolored? Does it have freezer burn? If it does have freezer burn, toss it. I tried to eat something that had freezer burn...gross! sad smiley

If I had nothing else left to eat and was broke I may make them into smoothies
