Blended Salads

I blend 1 tomato, 1/2 cucumber, 8" of celery, 6 or 7 leaves of Romaine Lettuce in a VitaMix 5000 and have that for breakfast and for lunch with juice and fruit. The blended salad tastes pretty good. I have added avocado which made it nicer. I have also added ginger and curry, just a little bit, which makes it different. You can experiment. The point is to keep it vegetable (the tomato is botanically a fruit and so is an avocado but they work in this veggie delight). Keep it organic if you can and definately keep it fresh ingredients. I make mine in my food processer. This way I can "partially" blend it, maybe 60-70%. I like it this way, and it still offers itself to chewing. Another good thing to do is put the blended salad in a leafy wrap, such as a romaine leaf or collard green. Yeah! Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
