Posted by: Itfeltgood Date: 08/22/2009 02:39PM OK so I am premeditating how I am going to keep up my good summer RAW eating habits when college starts in about a month! This is my schedule: 8:30-9:15 Math (Leave campus drive downtown to yoga!) 9:30-11:20 Yoga (Drive/speed back to campus!) 11:30-12:30 Journalism 1:00-3:00 Biology (Most def. speed to to work!) 3:15-7:15 Work ***Then every other work-week I will run across town to pick up a friend's 9 yr old to watch. 8:00-11:00 Homework Now I usually put on weight during the school year; stress and lack of sleep. I want to plan out meals and possibly just shove a cooler in the back of my car.... Does anyone have ideas for fast/ easy RAW meals. I'm pretty sure that I will juice or green smoothie for breakfast after yoga. Then eat a meal after Journalism? (here is where I need ideas I know I could do like mock sushi or tuna) And perhaps I will eat a big salad at work??? I was also thinking that one day of the week I would water fast.... HA! Also does anyone know some good uppers to keep me away on those cold and rip my hair out nights? I know bee pollen is good but I'm not quite sure what to mix it with. This summer I broke my college coffee addiction! But I am thinking about using Yerba Mate? Ugh I just know how stressed I get! Thanks for reading all of this jibber jabber! <3 Re: Busy Busy College Student! Help with food prep!

Date: August 23, 2009 01:17AM Alive in Five by Angela Elliot is a great book and it isn't very expensive. The meals are supposed to be able to be prepared in five minutes or less, and are very tasty.
The best upper is really eating as pure as you can. The hard thing is getting there! Especially when you are very busy and often stressed. Once you get to a healthier state, Tonya Zavasta says you will likely need less sleep. But again, that won't happen right away,so what to do in the meantime? Don't know what to tell you, other than, keep trying to eat as well as you can. Tonya recommends, and I have felt much better getting the bulk of my calories early in the day (the reverse of how many americans do it, by eating their biggest meal at night). One thing I really began to understand this past year is the value of eating simply. I am much better at it now. Bananas are great for meals on the go. I take two or three when I have no time to make anything else. You could have some trail mix made of almonds, pecans, raisins, etc... for the busiest part of your day, and they would keep you full longer. I used to eat a lot of dried figs. I avoid dried fruits now, but they may be better than other temptations. Hope something I said helped! Re: Busy Busy College Student! Help with food prep!
