Date: October 03, 2009 10:52PM Ok, so now that I have started eating more fruit in an attempt to go 100% raw, my daughter and I have been looking at fruit differently. Today we picked up some fresh cranberries, 2 pomegranates and 2 cactus pears. Then, when we got home, it dawned on me, I don't know anything about how to eat a cactus pear. I also discovered that I should not hold them with bare hands, hence the name "cactus pear" Does anyone know how to eat these raw? Need help, thanks! *Deb Re: Cactus pear?

It tasted alot like watermelon to us. We liked it, but think that the fresh cranberries and pomegranates were better. At least we can add them to our "tried it" list and now I know how to eat them for next time. Thanks, Deb- Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
