hello all. this is my first post and my first week eating raw and i love it so far! i wanted to know if there is a thread that has easy meal ideas because my wife wants to try it but she's tired of smoothies and munching on fruits and veggies. i saw someone putting almond butter on celery and that tasted great. does anyone know of simple but different meal ideas like that?

thank you.

Hi, Jolly Green,

Have you seen the Living and Raw Foods recipes on this site? You get to them from the opening page. Select "Recipes" in the column on the left.

Also, there are raw recipe sites that you might want to check out, like www.goneraw.com and www.allrawrecipes.com

Good luck!

jolly green

there is no end to recipes on sites

just google raw vegan recipes

and also go to youtube

you will be flooded with endless recipes

i like ann phyo's stuff because its simple

i am not a big dehydrator fan at all

it seems like most of her stuff doesn't have dehydrators

but then again, i think a lot of her stuff has nuts

but not all of them

my fave recipe of hers is the pine nut basil, sundried tomato leaf roll

i like things that take under 5 minutes or less

blender is good too

because u can just blend instead of spending 15 to twenty hours dehydrating

yeah, but a good starter is just clicking the recipe part of this awesome web site

if u have any problems finding it

let us know

this is a raw vegan site, they are asking about raw vegan meal ideas, cooked meat seams kind of opposite of what they are looking for...
