What do you use to make your Raw Spaghetti Noodles ??

Date: November 08, 2009 05:59PM I'm trying to decide between the Spiral Slicer (Saladacco) and the Spirooli Spiral 3-in-1 Slicer. Any thoughts or suggestions? Date: November 08, 2009 07:04PM I tried both and ended up making a mess. That's just my experience. I've read many favorable reviews of both products. I ended up with a Benriner. It's more expensive, ($40 or so on Amazon), but it's the only one I could get to work! LOL Re: What do you use to make your Raw Spaghetti Noodles ??

Date: December 16, 2009 06:20PM I use both my Saladacco and Spirooli dependong the thickness of the noodle. It's easy to make a mess if the stock isn't relatively straight and even on the ends. See John's take [www.discountjuicers.com]. They have a new Japanese sprial slicer, kinda pricey at $85. But....

Date: December 17, 2009 07:33AM Hm, I thought that Saladacco and Spirooli and Spiral Slicer were all the same thing. I got one. Now I do not know its name lol! It makes noodles and I like it.

Date: December 22, 2009 02:13PM Guess if you make it often or in large quantities a gadget can be useful. Shouldn't have to spend more than $30-40 though unless it can do tons of other things. The Spirooli Spiral 3-in-1 looks like a better tool and has gotten better reviews. I will likely be testing it within the next couple wks.
