are dats really raw?

I wonder if anyone knows if dates fall under this category....are dats you get, say, at a farmers market exactly what came off the plant? or are dates a dried fruit?? thanks! Re: are dats really raw?

Date: November 07, 2006 02:06AM some dates may be steamed to "plump" them up.
Buy dates directly from a grower to insure they are really raw. dates are a dried fruit... they are sun dried.. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
