Any ideas what to do with these. A few of our neighbours have organic allotments and keep bringing round enormous courgettes.

These are zucchini, right? I like to put them thru a spirooli (spiral slicer) and top them with chopped mushrooms, chopped tomato, a litle basil, a tiny bit of garlic, and olive oil.

Hi, a courgette (or zucchini in US) is normally refered to as a marrow once it gets big and round. They are best when they are uniform in thickness. You could still try and make some zucchini pasta out of them, but not sure if they will have any strange after taste of something (I'm not sure why people don't like marrows much, although I've never eaten one).

Cheers.

Cut them up in salads, blend in soups, juice, they are like hard cucumbers
