I was wondering about something ... I've not had any luck drying red peppers and was wondering if there was a trick to it. They haven't seemed to dry up like tomatoes do. Has anyone been successful with this? Thanks! Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 04/15/2012 05:50PM by Diana (Cda). Re: Has anyone dried red peppers so you get like sundried tomatoes but as peppers?

Date: April 19, 2012 05:46PM I actually did it accidentally the first time. I missed some cut pieces on my cutting board, and found them the next morning, dried up into red pepper jerky. It smelled even stronger than the fresh red peppers, so I couldn't resist popping it into my mouth. I chopped the rest of it into thin slivers and put it into a wrap. Maybe the trick is to leave it in the hot sun for hours! Keeping it raw at [rawfoodhealthwatch.com] Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
