Teflex Sheets

Date: October 17, 2006 07:12PM Are they really necessary when using your dehydrator? Couldn't I just use wax paper?? I inherited a dehydrator, and it does not have the teflex sheets, so I was wondering if I had to buy them or if wax paper will work.

Date: October 28, 2006 02:15AM I started using unbleached parchment paper when i realized that the teflex sheets are made with teflon. It works just as well, no sticking, in fact it seems to actually decreases the dehydration time. Re: Teflex Sheets

parchement paper wax paper saran wrap instead of the teflex sheets. I prefer parchment paper, but stuff can stick to it. They are now selling "silicone" sheets, "paraflex ultra" that are silicone non-stick sheets (resuable) Teflex is available at: [www.discountjuicers.com] Edited 2 time(s).
