Does anybody have any recipes for salad dressings or hummus or such that do not contain nuts, seeds, oils, avocados or coconut?

Thanks
John

Seeds (sesemie seeds that is) are kind of important flavour wise for hummus, so I'm not sure how to go about that one.

Salad dressings are a bit easier. How about some garlic, ginger and lemon juice? Sweet fruits can make good salad dressing as well, like lemon and rasberry or mango and ginger. Duce can be a nice addision to a salad dressing, also sometimes I like to add a little bit of a spicy pepper (the spicy pepper goes nicely with mango).

Hope that helps,
Ian.

Thanks Ian.

How about a type of fat/ oil free dip?

You could try blending some salad with salad dressing into a dip. Maybe make a raw salas, and blend it into a dip. Or maybe a mango, spinich, ginger, basil dip?

I think the best thing is to experiment with your favourite foods and flavours.

Cheers,
Ian.
