Fresh Tomato Sauce? (no sun-dried tomatoes)
Posted by: Manta91 ()

I'm currently on a diet to treat my candida and am will be reintroducing tomatoes soon (which I am absolutely THRILLED about -- it has been two months since I've eaten them). Understandably, I have been craving spaghetti like mad but all tomatoes must be fresh due to possible mold and (perhaps more concentrated sugars?).

Does anyone have a recipe for a fresh spaghetti-style sauce that would be suitable?

Thank you!

I like to use roma tomatoes ('guts' scooped out, or else the sauce will be too wet), red bell peppers, a little garlic, pinch of salt+pepper and some italian seasoning (ok, not sure if that's 100% raw, but it is organic). I just blend it up in the food processor and it makes a rather tasty pasta sauce I like a whole lotsmiling smiley

I make tomato Sauce all the time with & without sun-dried tomatoes.

Tomatoes (blend or chop 1st)
1 Garlic clove
Bell Pepper, chopped
Green Beans, chopped
Tsp Kelp powder or Dash Sea Salt
Optional: Cilantro, Olive Oil

Without sun-dried tomatoes, I just chop everything altogether in my mini chopper (I make salads too this way).

You can add hemp or almond butter for a different variation. I usually like that with cayenne powder.

Hello, try this my recipe of tomato sauce.
It goes well with spaghetti.

Sweet pepper 400 g (4 pc.)
Tomato 150 g (1 pc.)
Apple 150 g (1 pc.) or plum
Lemon 150 g (1 pc.)
Chili pepper 10 g (1/2 pc.) to taste
Garlic 10 g (1 clove)
Black pepper 1 g (seeds) to taste
Cumin 1 g (seeds) to taste
Coriander 1 g (sedds) to taste

1. Take sweet pepper, chili pepper, apple, tomato, lemon, garlic and seeds of black pepper, cumin and coriander.
2. Chop into pieces randomly sweet pepper, apple and tomato. Grate garlic and chili pepper on a fine grater, peel lemon.
3. In a high-speed blender, blend sweet pepper, tomatoes, apples, lemon, grated chili pepper and garlic until smooth.
4. Add to the prepared sauce coarsely ground black pepper, coriander and cumin.
