Carrots

Date: January 21, 2007 02:08AM This isn't for me, and isn't necessarily raw (well, I guess it could be)...my friend Kim is wanting to dehydrate carrots in her dehydrator because she thinks her son would be more apt to eat them like that, if they were slightly crisp...
I've never used a dehydrator but she said hers has little ventilation holes in the different tower sections of it, and she plans to chop up the carrots fine enough that they could fall through. She was wondering what she could put under them so they don't fall through, she asked if maybe cheesecloth would work...? TIA (thanks in advance!) ____________________________________ ~Christi~ Natural Living Info AP/NL mama to Jacob 10/25/2006 Re: Carrots

You might remind your friend to make sure the little guy gets extra water since dehydrated foods can make us dehydrated too. In his case that might equate to constipation- without extra liquids. Life Is Good! alive! Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
