dehydration rotation

Date: August 05, 2007 03:19PM When I purchased my Excalibur dehydrator 4 years ago, the website advertised that one of the benefits of the Excalibur is that the machine heated evenly throughout and that rotating of trays would not be necessary.
I've found this to be false. Not only do I have to rotate the trays from top to bottom, I have to rotate the individual trays a 180 degree turn because the back and right side drys more quickly than the fron and left sides. Has anyone else experienced this? Have they updated their machines in the last 4 years so their sales pitch matches the performance of the machine? -smile Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
