I'm a new raw foodist (100%). Can anyone tell me if granulated or liquid stevia is raw? If not, is there a type of stevia that is?

I am surprised no one has answered this. Of course I dont know but I do know that my friend is 100% raw and she sais purists only use raw agave nectar. Does that help?

Stevia can be as simple as the leaf dried and powdered, so it can definatly be raw.

Agave is processed, many agave products are not raw although some claim to be.

White powdered stevia and the stevia liquid is not raw.

The whole green leaf or green leaf powder MAY be raw (but its like dried fruit- may be heated too high).

I grow my own stevia and eat it fresh/dehydrate at a low temp, so you can be raw..
