Date: November 15, 2007 03:41AM i am getting married in a month, and having a reception some time in february. i would love to make a raw cake to share with everyone, but am having trouble finding a good cake recipe. i was trying to figure out how to duplicate that "wedding cake" flavor, but haven't been able to do it yet. any ideas? Date: November 18, 2007 10:15AM I was thinking for a long while about this one..
inside of traditional is normally heavy "fruit" cake so perhaps a base carrot cake- shdredded carrots, raisins, apple, pecans, walnuts and then a fancy frosting perhaps?.. I am thinking.. I will think some more and come back with more ideas!! I am thinking a variation of these: -- found on goneraw [goneraw.com] -- this sort of a nut base , with a frosting.
