Date: March 18, 2008 04:39AM Hi, I am new to the raw food diet and transitioning. I have recently become addicted to raw nut cheese and I would love to try and recreate one with a blue cheese flavor. Anyone have any ideas on would give it that yummy stinky foot taste? Re: Raw Blue "Cheese" Recipe?

Date: March 26, 2008 02:08PM Tahini cheese dressing really tastes like blue cheese dressing if you just add water to the cheese. It even has those little lumps like blue cheese. Alyssa Cohen has a blue cheese dressing in her book that is pretty good. Re: Raw Blue "Cheese" Recipe?

1 heaping tbsp tahini 1/4 cup raw cider vinegar 3 tbsp coarse dijon mustard 1 tbsp agave syrup 3 tbsp nama shoyu 1/4 cup cold pressed olive oil 2 grinds of black pepper on a salad of spinach, daikon, baby bella mushrooms, grape tomatoes, sugar snap peas, sun flower seeds and raisins!!!! amazing Re: Raw Blue "Cheese" Recipe?

Date: May 19, 2008 02:47PM I bought broccoli yesterday so I will probably try to make this today. RawGuru's recipe from that page above is this:
***************************************** [goneraw.com] Blue Cheese I'd say it makes arround 4 cups, its enough so I don't think you can eat it all at one time This was mostly an experiment on what to do with the broccoli stems. It came out wonderful so I thought I’d share it with you! I’m not sure if you’ll agree on the name though Ingredients * 1 cup water * ¾ cup sunflower seeds * 1¼ teaspoons salt * 4 tablespoons Brewer's yeast flakes * 2 teaspoons Onion powder * ⅛ teaspoon garlic powder * 1 tablespoon dill weed * 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice * 1½ cups broccoli stems Preparation Blend everything and enjoy! Add more broccoli if you want it to be a thicker consistancey, but over all just play around with it, make it your own! ***************************************** Once I make it, will post back on it. Cheers. Re: Raw Blue "Cheese" Recipe?
