Hello to you all,
I am excited to be here. Never thought I would be on a forum for raw foods. So I have surprised myself, but in a sweet way.

My name is Tricia, I am 46 years old and homwschool mom to 12 children. I am about 40 lbs overweight and really looking forward to my new way of life. Our family for many years has been grinding our grains for breads, drinking raw milk and making our own cheese, kefir, whey, and yoghurt; these we use to soak our whole grain flour in before using it. (Nourishing Traditions) Just recently, I have begun 100% raw and I am amazed. My family and dh haven't caught up with me yet but hopefully will soon. I feel tons better. I haven't even been doing milk products (even though ours is raw). I have only been juicing fruits and veggies. I am hoping to take off my extra pounds through having babies as well as start to feet better.

If there is anyone out there who has started like this and lost weight would you mind sharing your experiences? Also, we are looking into water fasts but since I am still nursing a little one I need to stick with what I am doing for now. I would love to hear you're experiences.
