Date: August 22, 2006 07:58PM I dont think anyone can really answer that for you dear. Can I make small suggestion? Try to focus on how good you feel from eating raw and NOT so much on the weight loss effects. Perhaps they would be better perceived as nice side effects, you know? I think the mental perspective has a lot to do with eating 'disorders', I dunno I am no doctor nor have I ever been diagnosed as such BUT... I have ALWAYS been about 10lbs over weight at least, since forever and I am excited about the prospect of losing that darn 10 lbs. and being my natural size and shape. So I am working out and practicing yoga and pilates, and transitioning gently to a raw diet. Seems like that should work for you too! Date: August 26, 2006 03:23AM If you have been a vegan for 6 months, that should have helped you lose some weight. Did you? Lisa is right that it is better to focus on the health facet. I just started raw about a month ago, after 17 years as a lacto vegetarian. I am having a hard time letting go of cheese and bread. I need to lose 40 lbs. But I hope that will happen as I get healthier.
