What's the easiest non-legume to sprout?

Date: June 04, 2008 04:44PM Things like alfalfa or clover are really easy. This is a good set of instructions for sprouting them in a quart canning jar. You don't need to buy the special draining jar lids... anything that can drain will work fine. You can cut out round pieces of an old window screen, or just use a piece of a nylon stocking. Date: June 04, 2008 09:03PM I would go for sunflower seeds (de-shelled). They can be eaten as a sprout....or grown in soil as a micro-green...or just eaten raw.
