Planting Tomatos Question
Posted by: VeganLife ()

Hello all! I bought a heirloom tomato and wanted to plant its seeds. Is it on to have the plants from that one tomato make more tomatoes if I want to continue planting tomatoes or does "inbreeding" cause the plant to become weaker with each generation?

It is okay, doesn't cause problems, but there is a technique to saving tomato seeds that is a little complicated, it involves fermenting them. My partner does it every year, but he's not here to ask. You might want to google it or get a book. Good luck.
