Is it okay to replant something into a pot without holes on the bottom?

Sure but I would put some pebbles or small rocks in the bottom so that there is some drainage for the plant when you water. Do not overwater your plant, water when necessary. Re: Is it okay to replant something into a pot without holes on the bottom?

Date: March 07, 2013 11:04PM My hubby drilled holes in the bottom of a glazed ceramic pot and did just fine, however, I can't be sure about porcelain. Am guessing with the proper bit that you probably could. ?? Mindy Re: Is it okay to replant something into a pot without holes on the bottom?

Date: March 12, 2013 05:34AM honestly tho i have a lovely jade plant in a pot with no holes in the bottom just put a bunch of gravel in the bottom and its ok .. i wouldnt dream of drilling out the pot
had i had some foresight with this particular plant i would have put it into a pot into the planter so i could pull it out and move it when needed . now its root bound in a lovely ceramic pot and at a point of removing and root shocking it and hope for the best or keep ignoring it and let its do it thing
