sprouting black sesame seeds...should the water turn black?

Read varying thoughts on whether the water should or should not turn black...some people suggest that the seeds are dyed black (because black sesame seeds are more valuable than regular sesame seeds) when the soaking/sprouting water turns black.

With my experience in sprouting seeds, if the seed is a dark colour then you can expect to find the soaking water to be slightly tainted with colour.
