Date: July 09, 2008 09:28PM I would like to encourage you as well. I was VERY sick about 4 years ago, pre-diabetic and a high white cell count. Dr.'s were at a loss as to what was going on. Candida, detoxing ect were part of the process. I am currently 75% raw in the winter and nearly 100% raw in the summer. The pre-diabetes has been gone for 4 years ( I got my numbers down in 5 months with raw food, low carb diet) My blood count has been perfect and I dropped over 35 lbs! I am told by friends and family that I am the 'picture of health' I blame it on God's food Re: Rawcovery: 1000 inspirational stories from people who’ve recovered their health through raw foods

Date: July 02, 2009 02:24AM Hello,
I also was type 2 diabetic, High BP, and over weight. The worst part is that I am a nurse. I decided I could not preach health and not live it. I lost alot of weight from 240 to 172 the last few years. Only last year did I find out about the raw food life syle. I did alot of research. I didn't do it 100% but mixed a Japanese type diet into the mix. I lost another 20 lbs. I did start to feel so much better as I lost more weight. I kept coming back to the raw food way. I have just now committed myself the last two days to 100% raw. I am exicited and have so much to learn. My next step is to no longer eat fish, or rice. I have had those in my diet for the last year. I attempted to sprout some rice but didn't do very well. It may have been the type of rice I used. I am no longer diabetic and I have normal blood pressure. I want to loose the remainder of my weight so badly. My husband is not on board for himself but supports me in everyway. I am hoping in time he will change his thinking about health and diet. I am almost 50 and grandmother of three. I want to be around to enjoy my angels. Thank you for letting me share.... Date: May 27, 2010 09:44PM My wife and I have just begun our RAW FOOD Journey. I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis on August 4th 2008 and have moved from vegetarian to vegan and now finally to the RAW FOOD Journey. We have dealt with so much concerning the spiritual transformations from these "shifts of gifts" in diet and are looking forward to this journey. The path was not an easy one to this point because of the elaborate need to face our EGOS but these shifts from red meat eaters to vegetarian to veganism has prepared us for this now knowing spiritual transformation. We are so excited about this journey and will keep you posted on the outcome in relation to the Multiple Sclerosis. We believe in this path and know we hold a valuable purpose for many to stay on this path. Re: Rawcovery: 1000 inspirational stories from people who’ve recovered their health through raw foods
