colonics - question from newbie!

I just joined the forum today. I am going on 3 weeks of doing Natalia Rose's Raw Food Detox diet. I am about 80% raw right now. I transitioned pretty quickly, but wasn't eating garbage before. I new I may feel some detox symptoms and I have felt some, like headaches - a lot of headaches. I chose to do this diet because I have a lot of stomach pain which I now know was because I was combining foods wrong. It has almost vanished. I also get the shakes and feel unstable when my blood sugar fluctuates too low, but that problem has been better (but not gone) since I started this diet. I am just wondering about people's experiences with colonics. I can't imagine even doing that, plus it's expensive. But, I'd like these detox symptoms to go away so that I can start feeling the full effects of the clean-up. I've tried herbal tea and felt terrible from that, then an enema which didn't do much. Stuff is moving out, but I don't think as much as I need it to be because I still have a headache and I'm eating only fruit in the morning, and then raw until dinner, and a healthy cooked dinner with raw veggies. Any alternatives to the colonic? Or is it so worth it?

Psyllium husk drinks, 2 to 3x a day.
