Natural birth control?

Are there any natural ways for birth control? I hate the latex condoms as I cannot feel a thing. I have tried the lambskin ones and they are much better (again I have limited feeling), but they are made from lambs, so don't want to use them. Any ideas? I have toyed with the idea of vasectomy, but want to avoid any unnecessary surgeries and mutilation of my body  .

You might find something useful in this thread! From a female perspective... A lot depends on your partner and what she feels comfortable with doing, but I have an awesomely reliable time using Ovutrac in combination with monitoring temperature and mucous (then dealing with condoms for about 5-6 days of the month). It does require commitment, attentiveness, and careful planning, but for me, these things totally outweigh either chemical or physical mutilation of my own or my partner's body.
