Hey guys,

I have on stained carpet. Do you use a model that steam cleans the carpet and also vacuums?

What do you recommend?

Thanks.

depends on the stain. i would google whatever it is on your carpet to see the best way to get it out. different things take different methods of cleaning and lots of them can be done by hand in just the spot that needs the cleaning. you can follow that with an all over steam clean if neccessary.

Thanks coco. I am one messy guy. The whole carpet is messy, that's why I need a machine. I cannot handle the stains by myself and need all the help I can get!

if its' that messy i would spot treat the worst bits and then go over it with a steam cleaner (you can rent them) that only steam cleans, that will do a better job than the vacuum/cleaner kind. you will have to use chemicals to get out bad stains though. maybe if you google a bit you might find some natural solutions to try out and see if they work before going the chemical route.
good luck!

I am thinking of buying a 299.99 hoover or bissell steam vac from bed bath and beyond. I will use the 20% off coupon.

There are natural carpet cleaners available.

sure, there are tons of natural cleaners out there. they just don't work as well on really terrible stains though. but try them first to see.

I use natural laundry soaps and softners in the carpet washing machines.
