I was just wondering....do any of you do it? Do you think it's safe for the bod? Any thoughts or feelings on donating would be fab.
Thanks!

the last time i tried to give blood , it was too soon after my cancer problems and they wouldnt accept me at the time

i used to give quite frequently

cant they cultivate blood yet? you would think with science the way it is it would be something they could do... never really thought about it .. smiling smiley

Yogi , do you mean no blood from a stranger? would you take blood from a relative?

depending on the circumstances i reckon its a hard thing to choose

personally i would take a transfusion if i had something life threatening .. i wouldnt like it tho .. it wigs me out lol

Haven't yet donated blood, but it's on my list of "to-dos" for the future should they need to replenish my type. I'd have no problem, ideological or other, with receiving a stranger's blood in an emergency.

Nope....nobody. The 'trick' is to live your life in
such a way so Blood is never needed to be taken or given. It's a
Yogic practice of Mind Control over physical happenings. We're in
charge.....WY

needles freak me out too but i surely would donate blood if i could (iron too low). there was a beautiful soul on here a few years ago, River Fraggle, whose life was saved when she was young by blood transfusions, blood from kind and generous "strangers". her story changed my mind about the whole entire things, especially since i had a son at the time and could not imagine him being that dreadfully sick and needing blood to save his life and not having any available.

plus, i've read that giving blood is one way to get a quick and effective blood detox. your bod has to make new and what it makes is fresh, strong and super clean! those "crazy" docs in the past who bled patients with leeches weren't entirely wrong after all!
