colic pain for uric acid renal stone

I have a freind who has 3 uric acids stones about 3 millimeters in his kidneys and one of them is in his ureter now and he has a very server colic pain .any one know any Alternative approach to relieve the colic pain and help him to pass the stone ? Date: May 27, 2010 03:23PM The best thing would be to drink lots of water to healp it pass. I cannot vouch for this, but have heard that consuming a solution of Epsom salts(1-2 teaspoons dissolved in 8 ounces water) can have a diuretic effect. I would recommend that he be taken to a clinic, as a blockage could result in infection. Good luck. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
