Are all the deodorant brands bad?

Is this safe? Going deodorant-free isn't really working for me. Coconut oil doesn't help. Apple cider vinegar doesn't help. Re: Are all the deodorant brands bad?

Date: March 07, 2012 01:37PM Antiperspirants contain toxins, yes. Deoderants can be bought without anything toxic, but then, they aren't designed to stop perspiration. Ammonium alum is a modified natural mineral salt, and not a lot of research has been done on its safety. I'm guessing it's safer than the stuff in conventional antiperspirants, which actually constrict the sweat glands, thus backing metabolic toxins up into your lymph! Date: September 07, 2012 03:32AM I just bought potassium alum based deodorant. The ingredient list is potassium alum, aqua, glycerin, and xanthan gum.
They specifically say that all ingredients are of natural origin, and the wiki page on potassium alum states that it is a naturally occurring sulfate mineral which typically occurs as encrustations on rocks. >Banana ice-cream rocks!< Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
