They're bits of debris that accumulate in the eye. They are often perceived as little dark spots or light flashes that come and go in your field of vision. It's not painful and if they stay small, they're just a minor annoyance. There is a laser surgery for large floaters, but I'd rather not go that route. Re: Eye Floaters

yes i have a diabetes blood testing monitor , have hadit since about 02' when i was pre-diabetic, i really dont use it so much now except from time to time as i really now can notice the physical signs of unstable blood sugar for me mood change, eye floaters, headachey, lack of energy, waking up feeling like i havent slept like AT all, painless migraines, being snappy, sore back well at least these are signs to me that im off kilter it may be different for others ...Jodi, the banana eating buddhist Re: Eye Floaters

They come on in the center,then move to periphery.In about 30 min. Pretty scary when happening. Been 2 yrs since last one. "Scintillating peripheral optic scatoma" Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
