Chloramines in Public Water

Date: May 04, 2012 01:23PM My town is having a city council meeting about putting Chloramines in the water because of new stricter EPA Regulations --
"The water authority says it is being compelled by tougher EPA Regulations, and that Chloramines are the best bang for the treatment buck." There's a lot of opposition to it, but I'm sure they'll get their way in the end, like always happens. I'm trying to find a list of all the Cities with Chloramines in the water supply, but so far I haven't seen it. [www.chloramine.org] Re: Chloramines in Public Water

Date: May 14, 2012 01:28AM Thanks, phantom! There are a couple of springs an hour or so from me. Actually, we have well water, but I'm interested in the chloramine situation in the city water since it's become a big deal on the local news now and I'd never heard of it, so I've been researching. And I thought chlorine and fluoride was bad. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
