Musculoskeletal pain --- is there a supplement to combat this?

I fear I may have a musculoskeletal issue, like costochondritis, that is giving me pain in the upper left rib. I've already ruled out cardiac issues (thankfully) so maybe this is it... still no definitive diagnosis.

Is there a supplement I could take to combat this? I'd be willing to try something just to see it if helps or not.

Thanks. That is an interesting product.

Do you have to apply it to your entire body for maximum absorption or only on the affected area is okay?

Again, thanks for the information about Magnesium Oil, Panchito. I'm going to pass that along to my daughter's boyfriend who screwed up his back by working out at the gym for years.

And while I was doing further research on the oil, I ran across anecdotes of people who were relieved of pain by Shiasu and looked up some articles about it. Here's are the links to what I read, and then it went further into some yoga type stretching exercises that may be helpful --

Try reading "Healing Back Pain: The Mind-Body Connection." It's written by a specialist named Dr. John Sarno who has concluded that the overwhelming majority of pain that people suffer is in our heads. Just having someone tell me this immediately brought relief to the minor and sporadic levels of pain that I still experience. He basically believes that people have been brainwashed to believe that pain is inevitable. He really blows the lid off the scam of conventional diagnoses and treatments.

I am goiung myself though some back alignments (but not pain). I've learnt that weakness in my left side of the body has twisted my spine as well as develop scoliosis. BUT my health has made a 180 thanks to raw food and now my body is trying to align itself. My posture muscles are getting stronger and stronger and being reborn. The tissue becomes 'glued' and fixed and I have to unglue it slowly. It is like opening energy paths and being like reborn, crazy stuff.
