Neither are some of the folks at the lower end of normal, such as myself, who take pains to achieve it and a very outstanding diet. We are so few as to be statistically insignificant. At my last health check I got flagged for being under BMI 19 which is nonsense. But I do believe that BMI is a good indicator for the vast majority of people.
