Dehydration in 16 month old child looking for tips

Sin Jow from Vietnam, I have a friend here that has a sixteen month old girl.
for the past 10 days she has been vomiting. mother has taken her to dr. first week he said chest cold, treat her with antibiotic. Yesterday he gave her iv for dehyration. I googled AMA recomendations. Basicly they say treat with Pedialyte.
Im worryed about this baby and looking for other recomendations thankyou rhb

Hi RHB, I found that there are Chinese herbalists in Vietnam

Since vomiting can be caused by different things, it would pay to contact an herbalist for a more specific formula. Chinese formulas are great to stop vomiting and treat various sicknesses. You also have to go by what's in stock at their pharmacy and do the best with what's available. It pays to have a couple formulas like this in your medicine cabinet at all times.

I have found somthing worth sharing on dehydration.

Coconuts are high in electrolites. It can be aplied topicly, On rist, ankle, and head. Thanks peace, rhb
