Date: October 12, 2007 08:09AM Hello,
i am in the process of converting from a vegan diet to a raw food diet and would like to ask if anyone knows the raw food diet's effect on hemorrhoids? is it possible for hemorrhoidal tissue to shrink on its own once there is no cooked food passing though the digestive tract? thanks much! ricky Re: hemorrhoids

Date: October 12, 2007 03:42PM Reverend George Malkmus of the Hallelujah Diet (which is 85% raw) says the diet cleared up his hemorrhoids.
This raw food diet study [www.iowasource.com] says the raw food diet has helped many people to heal their hemorrhoids. In my opinion, hemorrhoids are caused or aggravated by straining to push out stools. With the raw diet you should eliminate easier and therefore have less straining, so it should give them a chance to heal. Re: hemorrhoids

Date: October 13, 2007 04:37AM If you go to [www.curezone.com] and search on hemorrhoids you can find lots of information including a support forum about hemorrhoids. cy's mention of flushes made me think of that since that website has a lot of information about flushes too. Good luck and keep us posted on how it goes. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
