Does the Vitamix contain toxic material?

I heard that the Vitamix could contain toxic material made fromm Polycarbonate that influences our hormones.The basic ingredient is Bisphenol A which exists in common plastic water bottle. Does anyone know anything about it?

personally i dont think any plastics are safe from leaching who knows what .. given the choice i would choose a glass or metal container for the blender ..
