I remember when you posted on your progress along with the before and after pictures. Good to know you've kept it up, and thanks for the update.

I too find that consistently eating most or all raw food results in high quality/ powerful energy not just physically, but spiritually. However, if the external energy in the immediate environment does not resonate in a compatible manner with the energy coming from within, this situation becomes ripe for conflict as it were, as the dissonant energies will likely clash. Add to that, unresolved pr

I add it to bananas when making fruit leather. The taste of flax isn't noticeable.

I remember seeing your posts in the past, including the pictures you shared of your weight loss, as these were encouraging as an example of the progress that can be made with raw foods.

This is the first the raw food forum I encountered and joined years ago. Even though I don't comment as often as before, I still peek in frequently to see what others are posting. Like the previous posters, I also missed the site while it was offline and even browsed other sites trying to see if anything was noted elsewhere on why it was down for so long. Glad it's back up!

My guess on the increasing incidences of these disorders is also affected by the perception of powerlessness and loss of control over situations being experienced. As mentioned in several posts the support system of friends and community that could at least lend a listening caring ear and a shoulder to lean on to lessen the burden is not as strong as it was in the past, if in fact there is a sup

I've eaten it and love it. However I don't see it often and when available, it's expensive. The texture of the ripe fruit reminds me of a soft ripe banana. Very important to let the scales fall off by themselves rather than try to peel them off. otherwise it may make for uncomfortable eating. Hope you enjoy it.

The following site has a 3-part series on oil & gas drilling, with the 3rd part dealing with the Macondo well (site of the Deepwater Horizon event). It's lengthy reading but very informative:

I've had my Norwalk since the early 1990's and feel that it was a good purchase decision. Only had to return it for servicing once in the mid 1990's and never had any problems since. Yes, it's much more expensive than many on the market, but I feel it was worthwhile.

This is the type of machine I've seen used in commercial establishments to juice cane on demand, usually found in hispanic neighborhood stores. Another alternative could be to use a manual meat grinder but it wouldn't yield as much juice.

I'm not thrilled about the artificial coloring on fruits either. But more than that, I even less thrilled with the chemicals used to kill pests. On the label of the bag of conventional oranges I just bought: thiabendazole and ortho-phenylphenol used as fungicides and coated with wax or resin to maintain freshness. After peeling peeling I always clean the knife before cutting the fruit to minimi

Is there any research or studies around regarding what effects if any have been experienced by persons who interact in close proximity on an ongoing basis with those who have been exposed to these chemicals? I'm thinking along the lines of health care workers, family members, co-workers in civilian settings, etc. Since these substances have an extensive radioactive life, besides known issues suc

If your MIL has regular doctor appointments, you could give them a heads up about your concerns. Don't know what the law is in Canada, but in the US, healthcare providers are required to ask about and if needed report suspected domestic abuse (any type of abuse, not just physical, although it the one most people associate with abuse). Maybe she'll be more comfortable admitting and discussing
