Tai is that because you are in Hawaii? In california, we have so many options plus they sell them at the farmer's market My new favorite raisins: wine raisins Sorry, Sun-Maid: Wine Grapes Make

I love coconut water but my location does not make it the best to get fresh. We do have plenty available in the packaged form but I wonder what is lost in the processing?

interesting link on brain fog, Tai. It's hard for me to believe I have insulin resistance but crazier things happen. I don't eat much in the way of simple refined sugars and there hasn't been a concern of diabetes in the past. But, maybe there are other ways to develop insulin resistance? I need more leafy greens Avocadess and I don't necessarily like the taste so blending with something

So my diet has been a rollercoaster the last couple of years but i am trying to go back to mostly raw. I am coming from a much higher protein and fat diet. i have been sticking to the mostly raw regimen for the last 4 days. Since this transition I've had increased anxiety, agitation and brain fog. I can't say for certain if it is directly related to the change in diet but it correlates chronol

I've been getting frozen strawberries and blueberries cause they are cheaper. I've discovered thawed strawberries have a really off putting texture that makes me wanna gag. So, as not to waste the strawberries, I blend them with the blueberries. It goes from nauseating slop to taste bud bonanza like a frickin miracle. thank you

QuoteRawPracticalist >I'm sitting in my cubicle eating dates as we speak. Medjool and delicious. I am not sure if we are talking about carvings or cravings. Delicious does not make necessarily healthy. There is no need for debate on this. Dates are just too sweet to be the foundation of a diet. There are so many other choices out there. The body thrives on alkalizing foods

It seems like there is much disagreement on this board with the proper diet. There seems to be a couple different camps with strong views. Of course the debate is inevitable and older than any of us. I don't take an alarmist approach to my diet because that seems like a path to disease as well, but I do acknowledge I could make some improvements. I'm sitting in my cubicle eating dates as

Thanks for the information. He tells me now he is ready to change things but I am worried about the effectiveness of the coumadin with a diet change. That is interesting information about Xarelto and I will mention it to him, but his funds are very limited at this time. All those supplements listed in previous posts can be found with a simple google search, but like Suez says, he would hav

My brother has a factor 5 mutation that causes thick blood. He has had blood clots in his legs. His feet and legs are swelling and currently he wraps them with ace bandages. He is not very open about changing his diet, but he did reach out to me. Let's just say that he is very carnivorous. He is on coumadin. So, I'm looking for some ideas to slowly get him on a path to a healthier diet.
