It sucks to put yourself in someone else's hands and be abused by them. I wouldn't mess with any "metaphysical" quacks myself. I prefer tangible results I can feel, I have a chiropracter back East who is amazing. She makes me feel way better when I'm done and is a nice person too. I'm had positive results with acupuncture also. Good when you recognize someone else's issues as t

I'd make sure to take Folic Acid, B12, DHA (you can get vegan DHA caps from numerous websites) and get plenty of good fats (hemp, flax, coconut oil). By I I mean I if I was a woman.

Preparing raw food takes less time than cooking. Obviously it takes more than McDonalds drive thru but it's worth the time and energy. Preparing food is fun anyway.

Personally I think it's a poor decision to block threads that are talking about meat. Denial & censorship is not the proper way to win intelligent converts.

The best fest is SolFest in Northern California. It's not specifically about rawfood but there are some raw folks that are going to be there (me for one & Lydia of Lydia's Organics). Also it's only $45. I would consider going to Raw Spirit Fest but the price of $300 is out of my league.

Ideally go someplace on retreat (not a fasting clinic, those are a rip off), if you have a friend who has a country home he or she would let you use for a week that would be ideal. Being at home is more challenging because you may be tempted to fall into ordinary habits and routines. If you do stay at home I'd clean out the cubords. No point is fighting against your own temptations. Ideally r

I buy almost everything I eat from the farmers market. Picked fresh yesterday or that morning. It's easy being raw in Southern Cali!
