Most vegetables are annuals. They are going to die at the end of the season after going to seed anyway.

The facts are out there for the people who look for them. Google "carcinogens chemical" and you'll find a wealth of information. Chemicals are taken off the market each year with little or no fanfair due to recent studies finding carcinogenic properties to them.

We have a fairly ggod selection here just north of Atlanta... not a lot of organic, but I wonder how much chemicals are really used in Mango & papaya production?
The greenhouse grown cukes, peppers & tomatoes from Canada are usually pesticide free, though may use inorganic nutrients as soil supplements.
