i have the paraguard, megan, and my cramping was quite noticeable for the first 4-5 months, pretty mild for a few months after that, and then not at all. i've had mine for five years, and no issues. i know it aint popular among the all natural set, but my best friend had two kids with "taking charge of your fertility"... she says she knows exactly what where she went wrong each time! ha

its weird. i used to hate raw broccoli. now i can't get enough of the stuff. i especially like the stalks versus the florettes. and i used to hate raw OR cooked cauliflower. now i like to eat it raw. and zucchini i always liked, and still do. but making them into "pasta" really takes the like to a whole new level! point being, as you clean up your diet, your tastes change dra

i was a vegetarian since the age of 19, and i guess my first introduction to raw foods was when a vegan friend of mine dragged me to a raw potluck about 4 years ago... i remember thinking at the time that these people were total quacks, and all they seemed to eat was dates and chocolate! (there wasn't a salad in the joint... it was mostly raw desserts). then in july of last year i did an 11 da

hey soraya... sounds like you are a girl after my own heart! when i saw my first kettlebell video on you tube, i was like THAT'S FOR ME! then i just consumed everything i could find. when i was just getting started with them, i didn't have any videos, just pavel tsatsouline's book 'enter the kettlebell'. and i would add in the "easy" stuff during my other workouts... so swings and clean

hey soraya, i LOVE working out with kettlebells. i have twp 15lb and one 26lb kettlebell, and i am looking at getting a bigger one soon for swings. and i swear by them in terms of building strength and body shaping. a great cardio workout too! i consumed the www.artofstrength.com site, and bought two of anthony's videos "training clinic' and 'providence' -- both excellent.

the little thai watermelons grown on The Big Island of Hawaii have been amazing this summer. my daughter and i have been cracking out over them! everything else has been disappointing in comparison. geez f1, if anyone deserves a good watermelon, its you! i wonder if i could mail you one? is that legal? would it work? i'll do it! let me know!

congratulations terrryR for such a great insight, and for stepping up and taking radical self-responsibility for your health and wellbeing! choosing to eat more raw foods and curtail the alcohol will pay off HUGE for you. i wish you lots of strength, peace, focus, and motivation... and anything else you might need to make this change. but change is definitely possible. you can do it!

in order to get back to functioning well without coffee, you will need to experience a time (several days, a week) when you don't function well without coffee! sending you strength... keep fighting dave!

hey si.. i did the master cleanse last year for 11 days, and i only did the SWF 3x.. the rest of the time i did the tea morning and night. i had spectacular results. i am doing another mc right now (in honor of my first one last year that brought me to raw foods... i plan to do it annually) and i am finding the swf much easier this time around... davey and lillian are right, if you add the

interesting! hope that works for you davey... i know finally kicking caffeine was one of the best things that ever happened to me (i know all about that capital C-O-F-F-E-E thing... an 11 day master cleanse did what NOTHING else could). good luck! just keep trying, keep experimenting, you'll find the solution. the seeker finds!

mmmmm yum. nice pics bryan. (i'm fasting right now, and i should definitely NOT be looking at this post!) i LOVE the arizona black sphinx dates, a "rogue" date variety... from "Save the Date" Where did Black Sphinx dates originate? They originated in Phoenix, that we know for sure… but not much more. One likely legend is that they originated from a rogue

i know a woman, and have heard of a few others, who have used maca successfully to treat endometriosis. that said, i personally don't think its such a good idea to just throw this stuff willy nilly into your smoothies just to give you a boost... you risk creating further imbalances in your system, even as you may relieve certain other symptoms. my personal experience with maca was this: yes i got

unfair. hmmmm... explain to me how you followed through with your commitment to offering a 60 day fitness bootcamp? telling people you're going to take them skydiving and then taking them river rafting instead is not following through. i didn't sign up for a "cosmic womb workshop" and was not interested. nor were most of the other people, but we liked the group accountability and peer

i wasn't going to say anything, but i'm gonna have to jump to bananas defense on this one. the truth is you did suddenly end the 60 day bootcamp some 35 days early. some of us who didn't get shipped out and who did extremely well also felt left in the lurch on a committment you made. you made a big deal of asking people to commit wholeheartedly, and a lot of people did (myself included), but you

aloha jennifer! e komo mai to another rawfoodist named jennifer hahahaha... (is this island big enough for both of us??) i certainly recognize that zestful enthusiasm from my own decision to chuck mainland life and embrace the islands 8 years ago... maui is a very special place, a very healing place, and, if you love it here as much as i do, you'll never leave! have a safe journey.
