Oh, thanks! Tamukha ys that might be, grape syrup. It is a brown liquid. So, I will slowly finish the rest of this bottle -within the rest 5-10% of my non raw diet- and I will not buy another one.

Don't believe that mistake i have done! The first post is ok, I DO take the peel off. Sorry for the confusion! chat, I don't like taking supplements. Plus I don't trust them, don't know what in fact is in there whatsoever.. FDA is backing pharmaceuticals and the big money, getting rich from selling drugs to "fight" man-made diseases. In the same time that every disease is cured by t

Correction: Quote SkyFeather ~I personally do not in many raw foods I meant I personally do so in many raw foods The peel from the soft avocados are just fine. The blenders have no issues blending these skins, as they work with much harder to process foods such as carrots and sweet-potatoes. I wash only the beets and sweet-potatoes. I put the rest just as I buy them, aiming to get some raw B

When you put them in the blender, do you take the peel off of them? I personally do not in many raw foods such as: mango, papaya, beets, sweet-potato, cucumber and the avocado with the soft green peel (not the hass variety). Especially in fruits with a green peel, I believe it helps balancing the ph (from what I know fruits are more acidic than alkaline).

I see and hear all around from other raw vegans that they eat half avocado per day. I wonder why is that, since -as I know- the avocado fats are "good fats".

I had to watch a YT video to understand how a dehydrator works. Well.. it's an electric device and the lady at the video said she usually sets it on to 140 degrees. And I was thinking.. 140 degrees multiplied to at least 12 hours of operation ?? Wow! what the power consumption digits have to say about that?.. It is already an expensive device, I guess it also consumes a lot of electrical ene

I have heard about raw dehydrated bread and I saw that those that have a dehydrator they use to put also other sort of raw food there (tomatoes, zucchini etc.) I was thinking how healthy and close to raw food is something like this. If I understand right, the dehydrator removes any hydration from the food(s), which is completely the opposite from what a raw vegan wants. In fact a raw vegan has

Is there any other way other than go to your profile and look up aaall the posts you have written in order to find if there were any replies? I find it difficult and time consuming to check all those threads and I am newbie here with relative new topics/replies. I mean, at my 'profile page>show all posts' there isn't even an order according to the new replies to be put on top of the rest.

I was reading the articles on this site and I found these interesting parts from the article: Raw Fresh Produce vs. Cooked Food QuoteWhen Cooking Is Better? Iron Some nutritionists and biochemists erroneously claim that raw isn’t always best. Sometimes cooked food gives more nutrients for the buck, say Rutgers University and Taiwanese researchers at the 1999 annual American Chemical Socie

Great to read that rawgirl! I have noticed similar changes and I have just include them at my 1st post on this forum (Raw Diary). Here is my post: I have also noticed that my eyes (my glance) become brighter but it must have added to this also that the past month I have increased my meditation sessions from 15min. weekly to 30min. daily. About the allergies. I have a problem with red spot

Interesting changes I have observed in my body -to share with you all here- when I started with my 50% raw vegan diet (Nov. 2011) and even most interesting whenever I reach 70% (mostly the past month). Specifically: - My hair volume have thickened - I feel vibrant and more energetic with more stamina - Much-much fewer teeth problems! - Greatly reduced body odor (or eliminated in many cases

Sometimes I chop it fine and add it to my salad, other times I put it in the blender to add at the smoothie taste and some other times (not often) I eat a couple of leaves raw to feel my breath and mouth cleaner. Thanks for the link. I would never imagine that mastication had to do with the increase of strength. Great points also that the more one masticates the less food needs to consume. Ver

QuotechatDate: July 15, 2012 06:33AM our body can get only 3% of b-carotine out of the raw carrot, and something close to 30% out of the cooked one. Yes Raw4ever and the most crazy thing is, I know and I have realized how bad sugar is for my overall health, but it's such a sweet and sneaky assassin. I have bought dates, the big ones (think they called 'royal dates' or something). But I have bought also chocolate cookies (full of sugar) Thanks about the blender but already have one, plus I live in the Netherlands

Sometimes all is just about promotion.. I wouldn't believe, I just now have read that all these super wow blenders that I read here and there, have a..plastic container!!
