Thank you so much Prism, Thank you so much Elakti, Thank you so much Earthangel! Your wordsd and your support are precious to me, even if it is still hard. All of what you say is true, however, I'm not sure how to apply it to my life. Reading books... as a single working mum who tries to do her prayers, study, do her sawing and housework, etc... as well as seeing to my boyfriend, friends etc, no

hi GAls! Soz I've been away for so long, I'm pretty disgusted with myself. It is not going too well... I spend my week days, more or less getting back into shape, with daily detoxing from weekend. Then I go out with boyfriend or somethinor I mix with other people eating and it all goes to pot. I binge, furiously eating all the things I know I shouldnt eat, Thinking: "tomorrow I'l fast, but t

I soooo sympathise!!!! It hurts me to se what kids eat in schools in England too. However, we too were part of the problem once... with my kids is a constant battle, I dont force them yet I find it incredibly difficult to "encourage" them to eat more raw, they are so anti!!! They are now eating more fruit than before, nearly always only fruit for breakfast and milk only comes out if th

Pmt hey? Well, i used to get it really bad, then on this diet, it all went a lot better, but now I notice that if I slip on my diet it seems to have an even worse effect on my pmt. As if now I have become so super sensitive. so I think, for me anyway, its important to stick to a healthy diet especially on those days, now more even than before.

Yeah, I used to suffer a lot from candida, uh! I remeber roaming dostors surgeries in search for a cure, they did never answer!!!!! I first stopped drinking red wine and that made a huge difference. NOw on this diet, I am nearly a fruitarian except for some salad or the occasional vegatable. What Dulset says is true, it's NOT the sugar but the combination of sugar and fat, so if you eliminate

HI HUni! PLease trench on through headaches. Hopefully they'll disapear soon. after Wed, Thurs &Fri binges when I thought, what the hell. This weekend of detoxing I was doing great on raw, but I got bad headaches again. This actually tells me that the cooked food does harm us greatly. Hopes that gives you motivation to carry on throgh the pain. I havent forgotten to e-mail you the book to

Hi ya! read about your spice thing. Well, you are right of course, but just think about the consequences. I dont think it is perfect, but then again, you may not fancy attempting that level. Read F. Patenaud's book Raw secrets. He really is against any processed stuff, even if it hasnt been heated. He recomends no or little spices. However, if you are happy to suffer some Minor consequences, why n

Hi Meow, check your e-mail and let me knwo if you find something there. ABout the fasting. I think you should definitely wait until you have a holiday to do a proper one.if you are still working, maybe the fruit and green leaves sound better. I think the eat when you are hngry is a good way to cleanse. However, our bodies dont always crave for good stuff and you may think you are feeling hungr

HI Meow! I think you should read F. Patenaud's book on raw secrets, It has helped me a lot in getting to know what's what. I think he has a very realistic and gentle approach as well as being firm on his convictions. Ask me for detail if you want it (its an e-book) Well, guys I am Spanish but live inEngland, so not very close to you all. BUt i have started ion the same path. I also seem to be

hi darling, been busy with work and stuff. Also eak with our lovely diet. the thing is, it all seems a lonely struggle sometimes. I now think this diet is definitely right. However, it's pretty hard when I have to also cook stuff for my kids that looks so apealin to me still and be strong enough not to touch it. Also my Buddhist practice is as right as our diet, but sometimes its hard to fit it a

I did the exercises to improve my eye sight smoe years ago, After wearing glasses for years. Then I went to a new optician for a check up and she said I had perfect vision, I told her about my exercises and she said that was rubbish. I've been raw for about a month and if I'm honest I have not seen any improvemnt in my again deterioated eyesight, if something, actually they have gone worse.

About fasting, I thought I could never do it, but I tried for 3 days. The 1st 2 were tough specially mentally, then after the 3rd day i felt:perfect! as if I didnt need food at all, I was quite sad I had to break it. Changes in me? after trying raw for about a month with BIG lapses, I think I notice my skin a lot softer. I definitely notice that I have become far more sensitive to food, even i

Thanks for worrying Huni, but, its not that I hide it, its that when I am eating with my family or my boyfriend I try to eat a bit more like I used to. They still get the theory, dont worry, In stereo!!! In any case, I live 2000 miles from my mum so she doesnt see me most of the time. And also I only see my boyfriend about once a week, so no worries there. well, back at work with all my fruit for

you are right, it is all a bit mad. However, I have done all kind of crazy things in my life and I dont want to have my family worried about me again, so when I am with them I pretend I am not as serious as I am or they would worry so much. So for now, until I have experimented with it a bit more myself, I think that is the best way for them. But you are right, my body pays for it. Whenever i am

HI Tree! I am 36 and been trying to go raw for the last month or so. I have been raw some days and I have had cooked meat, chips and biscuits days. I dont actually feel too bad about those days because: 1. Been 36 years cooked and only a few weeks raw, so what can I expect! I'm still doing tons better than all those people who would never give it a go! 2. before I was completely lost, not r

Hi lovly, I have told my family I've gone raw. trouble is I have done so many things in my life they consider crazy that this is just another one for them. Hi ya!!!!! I'm back!!!!!!! Well, that was an experience!!! The fasting went well, although I made some "mistakes". I put some lemon juice in the water on the 2nd day and some honey, but I think that actually interrupted the process more than anything. It's funny to see the effect it all had on my mind. I was also doin meditation clensing retreat so, lot of things came up.Interesting. Th

Hi Dani, how are you doing? I think you could investigate this chocolate adiction. After all it is just a mind thing right? try to watch how you feel when you have a craving, what are you really trying to achieve. For example, I figured out that my binging on stuff nearly always comes out of boredom, etc. so when I have a craving i try to think: "I am bored, I am well bored", intead o
