I wish you the best with your dad! I was surprised to read he had met Ann Wigmore! What a lucky man! Sad to hear though, that he is not practising what he has learned from her. I hope you can help him get back to health with the green juices.

Thanks for the encouragment, Pam! I really appreciate it. I know I will be 100% raw again, hopefully really soon. I don't know what is keeping me from saying: "OK, tomorrow is a new day,and I will be 100%!". It almost seems fear of not being able to do it. It seems silly, because I just did it for 30 days, well I would say 99% raw. But I wasn't really happy with the way I was feelin

Well, we don't live that close to the beach either, takes about 1 1/2 hours to get there. But the kids love it there and it's such a mood picker upper! Hmm yeah, I haven't written much about my eating, because I'm not too happy with it. Still not back to 100% raw, even though I have kicked the coffee.

Wow, I love reading what raw foods can do to a person! And you say you are loosing weight, right? In my opinion, you shouldn't restrict yourself too much in the beginning, if you like avocado, and it seems to fill a need, maybe your body needs it? You are still raw and I think that is the main thing! I also have read not to eat too much fat, but your are still a sprout, lol. Enjoy your avos an

If you are trying to get more greens in, how about doing smoothies? Fruit and greens combine well, and you can stuff quite a bit of greens into a smoothie and it will still taste sweet. I'm surprised about your BMs, but maybe it's a detox thing for you. My husband has always had problems with his BMs to the point of almost having to go to see a doctor, but has not had any difficulty since goi

Yeah, you might be right about coffee being an aquired taste! I had my coffee headache yesterday.I felt like I had something heavy laaying om top of my head/eyes. Glad we went to the beach, so I had a little distraction from it. My headache is gone this morning, but I'm tired and keep wandering around the house looking for food, but not really hungry. I've been snacking alongside my father

Wow, you are really inspiring! Glad I came in to peek on how you are doing! It seems you are doing well! I have never really cared for Dr. Ann's energy soups either, but we have gotten into green smoothies (reading the Boutenko's Green for Life), which I think is close to her energy soups, except I believe (if I remember correctly), hers don't have as many fruits in it. But we put a ton o

I am really impressed! You are doing amazing! I know I have a very hard time, when junk food is in the house. So my hat is off to you! And quitting to smoke, yay!!! What an achievment so far! Keep it going! I actually had read your journal yesterday, before I started mine. So I knew right away who you were when you posted in mine today. Small world, lol!

Hi, and thanks for your encouragment. I also believe the caffeine has been the culprit of my tiredness during the past 30 days. And moodyness. So I have decided to give up coffee completely and the raw cheese as well.

Surprisingly, this time, our going back to raw was triggered by my husband, who has always been supportive, but not really into the whole raw thing himself. When I first met him, he was trying to gain weight, the body builders way. Eating, eating eating, protein, protein, protein. He didn't think a meal without meat was complete. I must applaud him, because I NEVER thought he would want to become
