Wow, that looks really good Jennifer. I will definetely try that one on my husband!!! I only have one of those ugly round dehydrators that you can't change the temp, I don't even know how hot it gets. Did anyone ever measure the temp on those?

I started to eat raw very recently. So far I am doing very good. No cravings and no hunger. Basically I am not hungry because I eat a lot (as always), but eating healthier foods makes me feel good about it. Fortunately we don't have weight problems... I just went to my garden this morning and I have a beautiful crop os snow peas. My husband is trying to eat raw with me, but he is picky. So

I have been trying to go raw for the longest, always something goes wrong. A trip, kids don't like it etc. I am not used to the taste of raw vegetables, but I know I should. I have a green smoothie for breakfast every day. A little later sprouted bread with honey and butter. Fruits throughout the day and then it all goes down the drain. There is chocolate, cooked dinner, cookies etc. Does

I use filtered water from the fridge. I water 1 time a day and the seeds are special organic sprouting seeds. I have used all kinds of seeds. The sprouter is a round ridged device. the water goes from the top to the bottom and is not recycled. There are ridges to make sure the water goes around and out. I really don't know what the problem is.

Hi Autumnbrz, I though I was for sure the only person in NC trying to be raw. I moved here 2 years ago from Florida and was working so much, that I don't have friends yet or any support for my new endeavor. My husband thinks he has lymes disease, so I'm convincing him to go raw with me which makes life A LOT easier on being raw. My older daughter, the only one who goes with me on this is leav

My grandma used to put the honey jar inside a small saucer with water. The ants end up dying when they try to get to the honey. It's two in one, keep the agave safe and pest control...

I tried raw before and loved it, but with a family of 4 it's hard to please everyone. My husband thinks he has lymes disease and we have been reading about all the missdiagnostics and the fact that it is hard to cure and about the candida so he is now agreeing to go raw too. The problem is I have not been able to find foods that satisfies my family. Plus, they are not crazy about the different

He thinks he is, but we saw the bulls-eye marks on his body about 7 months ago. Last month he went to get new lenses and the optometrist saw some problems with his peripheral vision. We will see that in 3 weeks. He googled symptoms and has lots of them. Diarrhea, heart paltitations, swelling of the knees, back aches, throat hurts, headaches, lack of energy and mild depression and the list goe

It's all great in the summer when you don't want anything hot anyway. But what about the winter? I'm new to raw. Just started and I am loving it, but my family of 4 is not all in agreement with me, so I cook for them and lots of times I sneek in some raw to the their meals. They like it, but so far, they cannot go totally raw. When school is back, I'm sure there will be all kinds of "cr

My husband is sure he has Lyme Disease. We have been searching and saw about 2 stories of people who cured their lyme with raw foods. Does anyone have any experience with that? We do not have health insurance, so we have to do this on our own. All suggestions and testimonials are welcome. Thank you.

I read a report that duct tape over the wart for 5 days take out, do it again for 4, then 3 and it should disapear. I started it with my husband, we have been trying to get rid of his warts for months, they are very painful on the ball of the foot. The first 5 days are gone, the skin looks bad around it, but I don't think we have more than one repetition, this time I think it's going away.

I blend green smoothies everyday (all raw organic fruits and veggies), so when I wash the vitamix jar, the rinse water is a great "plant food" for all my indoor plants.

My husband had an attack of gout. I never heard about it before. He travels a lot and eats all kinds of bad foods. I am starting on raw foods and know if he would be in it with me he would never have it. His knee is swollen as big as a watermelon and the pain is excruciating. I am trying to flush the uric acid from his body with lots of water with lemon, apples and cucumber juice etc, but wh

I was just searching the net for raw options and found Talley's green grocery, Nude food Organic Market on Yadkin Ave and they say the Home Economist carries good stuff. On Rea Road, there is a Trader Joe's store, brand new but not much organic produce there. I'll check the others today.

I am new to raw foods and time is as short as my budget. Does anybody know where I can find these products in Charlote, NC or by mail? Will they keep that long since I would like not to have preservatives on my food?

I have a family of 4. My husband words in DC and only comes home during the weekends. My daughter 17 will eat whatever I feed her (too lazy to get up and get her own food) and my son 12 really likes his junk food. We only eat healthy at home, mostly vegetarian, so he is only in danger during school days and when he goes out with friends. But it really is a lot harder when you have to prepare
