I'm not a non-smoker yet. (sheepish) Had more fruit and a salad. Went to Tai Chi class---fantastic,loved it. We worked on a few "simple" movements all class...I hope I can remember it to practice! The last time we went through this "simple" segment there was such a good feeling in room...I love that feeling which I feel sometimes, even me, when doing a movement...a ri

Hi, welcome! fantastic switch of jobs, good work! Me, I'm coming back from raw so am again in first stages so I don't leave house without food....bananas in purse, dates, raisins....or, if extended leave, I pack a lunch and feel like I'm going on a hike. I take salad, dressing, lots of fruit with me. From past experience, this becomes less of a problem as there is less pressure of "

I'm glad you started a journal. I find it helpful (and sometimes a dumping ground, merrily typing away sorting things out like you mentioned...it can be therapeutic sort of). You are helpful and inspiring and I am glad that you are journaling now so I figure you'll be around! Now I live with housemate and there is 'other food' around and sometimes it is tempting. It must not be easy to have

Hi all, thanks for posting. You took the plunge, Sundancer. I'm glad. This morning I had small orange and banana; a couple hours later I made smoothie with banana, apple, pear and some persimmon 'jam'. Yesterday I kept eating salad, I don't know how many plates I had throughout afternoon and evening. Also had lots fruit, mostly in early part of day, including some delicious grapefrui

I didn't make carrot juice, but ate about 3 small helpings of salad with extra celery. Turns out celery replaced desire for carrot juice. Went to bed late, slept late, and missed going to my spiritual gathering partly due to time change which I didn't know about. Have had an orange and 2 bananas. I feel pretty good compared to last eve. which was detox-y. I've lost 12 pounds in 10 days.

I don't feel well today. I've eaten a couple oranges, bananas, and finished the other half of the delicious watermelon. Have had 2 small plates of salad, including a little avocado. (and of course a few olives) And a smidgeon of the persimmon sauce/jam. I went to T'ai Chi class this morning, which I enjoyed very much. The class is almost at the end of the form, and a new class begins i

Welcome from me too. I understand how you feel (minus the job and the boyfriend!). I am coming back to raw, also. Quite a difference isn't it, once you've "tasted" it?! Glad you're here, stick around. I want to stick with raw. ~ Elakti

Kwan, you ARE a role model, a positive bright role model in several areas and it wouldn't diminish in any way by any particular appearance. I certainly understand what you are saying though, as everyone who knows me tells me I am so very hard on myself. I always say I am stating facts, but I also know that I AM too hard on myself. Thing is, we can't judge. We just don't know. Someone make 'l

Jodi--do you currently do either? Did you take classes? How long? I am so looking forward to class tomorrow, meeting the teacher. Tomorrow is a tai chi class, and they started just recently. What a wonderful watermelon I am enjoying. I think I opened it on exactly the right day! Later I will probably eat more salad. In the evenings, I am always restless for...SOMETHING....heavy

I woke up this morning feeling good, having to pee like crazy, wanting my cup of coffee and thought it was usual time...in kitchen making coffee I see it is 1:45 a.m.! I felt like I could play 3 sets of tennis. So, stayed up several hours, reading, doing Qi Kong, and meditated. Also, at 3:00 a.m. had a AE elimination (trying to curtail my tmi tendency) but AE stands for appallingly enormous,

I continued fruit about 10 am: bananas-2, strawberries-8, tangerines-2, raisins-I didn't count! I'm discovering correct way to eat raisins : I soak raisins in mouth, slowly chew and release juice, soak, sip, chew, soak, sip: so much more delicious! They're not potato chips! Stomach didn't have to say, "What, pebbles? Oh, they're raisins." I'm so silly. Anyway, that said about

Did make a smoothie last night and it took care of the cravings. This morning.....I will edit my usual TMI self and just say: "G.I."-Normous elimination, heh! Fruit this a.m. of course. Strawberries, banana so far. Made humungous salad for work, with too many olives but I will be happy to see them all this afternoon...romaine, spinach, cucumber, grape tomatoes, a bit of zucchin

Hi ladies, thanks for stopping in. Yeah, I felt better this morning than I have felt for a very long time, months and months. Really, kind of buzzy and over the top. I ate fruit all morning and early afternoon (mango, blueberries, bananas, tangerines, which were fantastic by the way) and shortly afterwards had a sort of sneezing seizure. I mean explosive series! Mucho mucous on the move.

Good to hear your smoothie venture is working for you. Especially since it is the taxing time of year. So much variety to smoothies, too! Being in the water should be good for your shoulder, right? Maybe not roundhouse arm movement but paddling and such. Where do you swim? I do kinda miss water. I moved from the ocean to another area. I think I miss the ocean air as much as the water.

I just got back from People's co-op, where I've not been since I moved from that area. A friend and I went to lunch....had a massive salad so yummy good and I had to bring half of it home for later. Shopped! Ah, what a sight to be back in that store...all the produce, all organic, so beautiful. I got so much, 4 bags full: I'm set for awhile! Forgot to look for frozen cherries, they didn

You're such an inspiration that you even inspire me to try Durian again....and that is saying a lot! I won't muddy your journal with my description of my first Durian (frozen) experience! What is it exactly that grabs people so? I think I came across it once somewhere...something about certain phytochemicals or neuro this or that or something that really sparks the feel good part of brain.

Hi. That's great that you are so young and finding the right way to eat. Wonderful. Keep on. I read all Monarch's books...no, nothing about eating cooked again! He went raw overnight and now, 7 or 8 years later (?) has still not eaten anything cooked. Bis spater! I took German in school, aber Ich kann nur sagen dass Ich nicht Deutsch sprechen kann! Dance through the day! Good wo

That's beautiful. Yes, I've experienced waves of energy and waves of colour. The most intense recently at a very low point, actually I think a high point of feeling so low and having such insight of my condition and need...was meditating in this very begging helplessness and powerful waves "descended" and I was totally calmed and at peace. Yes, lots of people cleansing. My short

Hello Suncloud, thanks for stopping by my place. What are jungle peanuts? Where do you live? Sounds good. In the jungle? Hawaii? Maybe I missed it, haven't read all. What kind of yoga do you do? Kudos to you for fasting Twice a week...how long have you been doing that? You're an inspiration, like so many here. I'm glad to have inspiration. I should go back and read ALL of your

Thanks, Suncloud. Did eat salad last eve, small bowl, then another...so so delicious. This morning I feel renewed. Seriously, what a difference. Huge. Before fast, very ill, no vitality, plagued with this and that and now, a little flushed out, more rested, I feel like I've emerged from a dungeon. I'm surprised I had the fortitude to go through it, but only the 2nd day was really diff

THANKS! Just ate a peach. I made a salad, it's in the refrigerator. I used the spiralizer! I did a carrot and a beet...the beet turned out fantastic! One long curly piece, very cool. I do love beets...they are rather underground dank things but I love the taste...and what a dynamic colour! I may or may not have some salad. Ehret says to eat enough to cause a bm. I do feel interior rumbl

Ok! I felt pretty good today! I did another enema this morning (and I'm glad I did). Had some energy in morning and was active in yard and around house and then took a long lovely nap. A little weakish in afternoon. Just a little while ago, I ate some prunes that I soaked, and ate part of an apple, chewed well. I feel so full! I had gone to store, and got some food for the big laun

I want overall happy fuzziness! Yes, pomegranates Are Such Work. There was a pomegranate tree in backyard when I was child. I remember it being fun eating a pomegranate. Ah, childhood. Anyway, that is good you're smoothing out the smoothies. Enjoy! (I can't wait to eat).
