Thanks karen. Today I have a tooth ache. I have tryed to calm it by useing some ambesil and now I took a tylonol. I wish I had some wheat grass I use the pulp and just let it draw the infection out of my tooth. I have real bad teeth. Dentists are expensive. I started the day with a couple of cups of pepermint tea. I find that refreshing and tasty I nibbled on some cantaloup but that

same with me. I have a pak of the berries and now I don't know what to do with them. They are very sour and have a hard center like a large seed? After tasting one I put the bag on a shelf and there it sits. I thought of soaking some to see what happens. But they are so sour.

I do agree with aqua on stuffing the greens, Just keep eating the green food you will find your balance. The junk food will begin to lose its apeal on you and you will gain knowledge that is very helpful. Keep trying to eat raw. Dont beat your self up about it just get some wheatgrass and stat. fill yourself up with the green food and you will get all better.

It seems that jucin jon brought balance in this talk. Thankyou Thank-you wheatgrass yogi for the helpful hints. I am just starting with growing the wheat grass. My last batch grew very nicely however I placed the trays outside and it rained a lot, That is why they molded. Sometimes I sprout the seeds for to long and they tend to mold. I have a problem with mold when I have the seeds under co

Benetgirl, be nice to yourself. It is a journey to enjoy and learn along the way. We eat and learn what these foods are about and how they make us feel. If you drink wine you have learned how it makes you feel on a new and more enlightened perspective. If you eat a pizza you find out how that makes you feel how it gives you very little vitality and energy. In the future you may eat something

I am gearing up to start a juice fast, I am feeling the need to cleanse and all that. I have been reading norman walker. I cant believe he actually had to hand gring carrots to get their juice. I also did'nt know that the pesticides reside in the pulp rather than the juice.

I enjoy wheat grass juice. I would say the wheat grass juice was my first stem into eating raw. I especially like giving juice to my friends who are unhealthy eaters and hear what they say. My brother who is extreamly unhealthy drank some and the next day sayed he felt a warm feeling rise from inside him that spread throughout his body and it made him feel happy. The next day I gave him some

How unfortunate of a story..... I was not impressed in the training offer she had. What does allisa khoen do besides write books? Does she have schooling as a natural path? If I were to pay a thousand dollers for three days training I would prefer to get it from gabrial cousens who has three doctorates and a lot more learning under his belt. He does not even charge such exorborant prices.

I have looked at that web place and I was not all that impressed. I got some bad vibs and I could not place just what my problem was. There seems to be a great deal of focus on money. For example, the cost of one of her certificate classes, It was a thousand for a three day class. I thought that a bit exessive. There are some nice people on there and lots of great recepies.

Yesterday I ate three apples and I had two tablespoons of ground flax with a spoon of psylium seeds. Later in the evening I had the munchies and saw a bag of pumpkin seeds and ate a couple of handfulls of them. I know I should soak them but sometimes I feel I need a crunchey thing to eat. I fgoogled "tongue diagnosis" and came across a light that explained a way of reading sighns o

I would'nt drink the tropicana juice because I wouldnt trust it. I have been working hard to clean out my body of the toxic stuff I have ingested. Congrats on starting raw. Look for some farmers markets in your area. usually you will find fruit and vegetables that are not so expensive. The best of luck to you and hang in there, it is a learning process.

Thanks karen, This is all so new to me, I never was a morning eater. I use to go for a half a day before I ate. Yesterday I really craved the nuts. I think it is the crunch they offer. I found a couple of grapefruits in the house and juiced them yesterday, they tasted so good. I can't wait until the farmers market this sat. I am making a list of my needs. I saw a recepe for a raw corn sa

You just soak the seads and then plant them? I presume that works? I think I will try that one. I always thought you had to sprout the seeds. Do you have any mold issues. Have you used the kamut seeds?

well, I have been eating a bunch of nuts. I have been eating then throughout the day, like a addict. I did not eat them because I needed them I just ate them I did'nt even soak them. Based on how I have been feeling lately I think I need to stay away from the nuts. I don't think they agree with me. I think I need a shake down, so to speak and start eating the ground flax seeds and incorpora

I ended up pounding the cabbage for a long time. the book says the cabbage needs to be juicy. The recipe did not call for salt but I ended up puting about a teaspoon of it in. I also made some marinated veggies I tasted them today and the cauli flower tast real good but the carro

by saying jarring do you mean canning? If so when you can tomatoes, for example you would need to heat the jar so It would seal the lid. You need to heat it also in order to kill any bacteria in the jar. So you would kill the enjymes in the tomatoe. Have you thought of drying some of the tomatoes?

since I have been eating only raw foods I have lost 40 pounds but I am also very over weight to start. I have a lot of weight to lose. I think when someone has only 40 pounds to lose the weight loss will be slower. I usually start the day with a 4oz drink of wheat grass juice. I don't eat in the morning because I am usually not hungry till about noon. I sometimes drink rejuvelac in the morni
